Using Remote Desktop Gateway

Below as step to remote access server outside DAXONET network.

1. Open the Remote Desktop Connection client on your computer.
2. Enter remote server fullname or IP address in the Computer field.
3. Click the Show Options drop-down arrow.
4. Click the Advanced tab, and click Settings.
5. Select the second option Use these RD Gateway server settings, and for the Server name, enter provided Remote Desktop Gateway Server Name.
6. Select the option Bypass RD Gateway server for local addresses.
7. Click OK to connect.
8. Enter your DOMAIN Account credentials, being sure to enter your username in the DOMAIN\abcxyz format.
9. You will most likely be prompted to trust the computer’s certificate, as this is an DAXONET-internal certificate. Verify the name and click “Yes” to continue.
10. You should now be connected to remote server!
